Barnabus
Barnabus is a long-established Manchester homelessness charity providing outreach, sanctuary, support, and pathways into accommodation, recovery, training and employment. It helps rough sleepers and vulnerably housed adults rebuild stability and independence through practical and long-term support.
What we offer
Outreach & Rough Sleeper Support
Daily street outreach teams offering first contact, welfare checks, essentials, safeguarding and connection to support pathways.
Support Centre / “Beacon” Drop-In
A safe indoor hub providing food, showers, clothing, laundry, wellbeing support, computers, and one-to-one guidance.
Casework & Independent Living Support
Structured support to help people move into housing, access benefits, gain ID, manage appointments, and build stability.
Recovery, Wellbeing & Mentoring Programmes
Support around addiction recovery, mental health, confidence-building, motivation, resilience and purposeful activity.
Training, Skills & Employment Pathways
Help with training, volunteering, employability skills, work placements and progression routes to long-term independence.
