Chapter One Tea Rooms

The Chapter One experience is about supporting people through real-life work placements, helping build skills and explore the world of work.

Located at Hindley Library & Community Centre, the Chapter One Tea Rooms is managed in partnership with Wigan Libraries, CRISP CIC and THRIVE CIC.

Chapter One Tea Rooms is open Tuesday - Friday with lots of delicious homemade sweet treats & hot drinks served. We host a variety of different workshops for all ages throughout the week - please check our Facebook for updates, these can all be booked online.

We also have lots of exciting family events coming up throughout the year!

What we offer

Café & Tea Room

A community-run café at Hindley Library & Community Centre offering homemade sweet treats, hot drinks and light refreshments. Open Tuesday–Friday, 10am–2pm.

Community Workshops & Events

A variety of weekly craft and wellbeing workshops for all ages, bookable online. Family events are also hosted throughout the year at the Hindley Library & Community Centre site.
