Making Education a Priority (MEaP)

We offer multidisciplinary education and skills in life-long learning and provide opportunities for social enterprise and urban regeneration as key drivers to social inclusion and poverty alleviation of people with mental health-related problems. We promote access to service, offer help, and support to residents, and encourage participation in activities in a person-centred approach to overcome isolation, stigma, and discrimination to improve physical and mental health. We offer career advice to residents through referral services. We focus on the following areas: ? Developing Interpersonal Skills ? Introduction to Self-Employment ? Building a Personal Career Portfolio ? Leadership and Team Building skills Working with our extensive network of community partners, we also deliver workshops that focus on: ? Youth mentoring ? Employability and life skills ? Creativity and arts ? Sports for life MEAP values and encourages social engagement in a culturally sensitive environment.
