More Than Words are a not-for-profit community interest company that works with people of all ages and abilities. We use drama, music, dance, singing and creative activities to help people to develop their confidence, express themselves, be more independent and achieve their aspirations.
What we offer
Inclusive Drama & Theatre Workshops
Dramatherapy-based half-day and full-day workshops for children and adults with disabilities and/or autism, using theatre, music, dance, poetry and creative activities. Free taster session available.
Theatre Performances
Original theatre shows created and performed by people with disabilities and autism, exploring issues faced by disabled people. Performances at the Wigan base, schools and businesses.
Singing, Dance & Music Sessions
Weekly sessions incorporating singing, dance and music in a therapeutic creative environment. Students can choreograph their own pieces and write and record original songs.
Corporate Training & Consultation
Bespoke drama-based training and consultation packages for organisations, providing unconventional and enlightening insights into disability and inclusion.
