Social By Design CIC

Our organization, Social by Design, was officially registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in May 2024. We chose the CIC structure to enable us to generate profit sustainably while focusing on creating positive impact and change both nationally and internationally. Although I am listed as the director, Social by Design was founded by three of us. The management committee consists of three founding members, each with extensive experience in the international development sector. My expertise lies in migration, asylum seekers, and refugee support. Somar brings a strong background in climate and sustainability projects, while Ghanem focuses on gender and youth issues. All three of us hold master?s degrees in related fields and have served in various roles with NGOs and UN agencies for over eight years. Our work has taken us to diverse locations, including Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Europe, and the UK.
